Description: Mental Performance Training
DUA is thrilled to announce our first venture into the resort filled Gulf Shores area. We are honored to have been invited to provide top level umpire camp by this premiere tournament made up of top teams from across the nation.
We are pleased to announce the return of Dr. Megan Buning, Certified Mental Performance Consultant extraordinaire! Dr. Buning was a stand out All American pitcher in her at the University of South Carolina, where she was also inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame. As a former standout softball player, an accomplished coach and analyst, and professor, Dr. Buning brings a unique blend of softball experience to us from all sides of the game! Dr. Buning will be working with campers in large and small groups focusing on sports performance, focus, and mental mastery skills needed to excel at the highest levels. This is a unique opportunity to work with a Certified Mental Performance Consultant not offered at any other camps! Come work with Dr. Buning to master the internal mindset needed to take your performance to the highest level!
Umpires will be observed working games and given post game feedback by DUA post season staff members at each position of the collegiate three umpire system. Paid games may be available for campers to umpire (without observation/evaluation.) This camp will not include a seperate classroom session.
If you have never been to the Gulf Shores, consider bringing your family or significant other to soak up the sun and play on the beautiful beaches while you increase your knowledge of umpiring!
Craig Hyde will be on site seeking talented umpires for post season consideration at all levels of college softball.
