Audition/Observation Camp:

Diamond Umpire Academy is pleased to announce its expansion into the Northeast section of the NCAA softball world. On July 28,29,30 our staff will be conducting an instructional camp in Wrentham, Massachusetts. This camp will take place during a weekend of competitive play at the NEF showcase, which attracts only the top-level players each year. DUA has waited several years to find the correct setting before venturing into this area. We are excited to bring an experienced, NCAA post-season staff to Massachusetts. This camp will include an on-field clinic that has been talked about by previous campers as being the key to understanding NCAA mechanics.
If you are a new umpire or a seasoned veteran looking to enhance your skill level - this is the camp to attend.  We will have an on-field clinic as well as our well-known one on one training during live game play.
Patriot League umpires who would like to retain their status within the conference and those umpires that would like to have the chance to become a conference umpire within the Patriot League will have an opportunity to work directly with the new conference assignor.  This Wrentham camp is open to all levels of umpires looking to either enter the college ranks or take a step up on the ladder of game quality in their schedules.  Coordinators from Division 1,2 and 3 will be on hand recruiting and to answer questions. Several other conferences will be represented for those seeking work elsewhere.  All games will be evaluated by our outstanding DUA staff of Super Regional and WCWS umpires.  Campers will receive feedback and instruction during and following each game. Umpires will work games at all three positions.
